The Wichmann Diesel Engine type AC, ACA, ACAT is a two-stroke engine scavenged by mechanical driven Root’s blower.
AC engines is of the block type, and cylinder liners have integrally casts cooling water jackets. The pistons are oil cooled.
The engine is fitted with a hydraulically operated controllable pitch propeller and double cone friction clutch.
Both the clutch and the pitch control servomotor are totally enclosed in the aft end of the bedplate.

Wichmann AC Engine type transfered to Novemo

QuantiParts BV has appointed Norsk Veteranmotor AS, Norway,
as their partner for Wichmann AC Spare parts.

QuantiParts BV (a Wärtsilä Company) is proud to announce that it has signed an agreement with Norsk Veteranmotor AS, located in Rubbestadneset (NOR), for the Wichmann AC spare parts, that will be effective from the 1st of April 2024.

With this new global agreement, both parties become strong partners with a
shared passion to keep the Wichmann AC running.

Both companies have the common goal to service and support the existing market
and its Wichmann AC Customers.

Way of working from the 1st of April 2024 on.
