Bolnes 190 engine rebuild completed
Quantiparts in Zwolle has completed the rebuild of the smallest 2 stroke cross head engine in the world, the Bolnes 3DNL 190/600. Starting August 2015 and during a 16 week period, the engine (including Auxiliaries) was stripped, measured, rebuilt, made customer specific, Factory Acceptance Tested and packed for transport… one week ahead of schedule.
The original engine was built in the Bolnes production
plant in Krimpen aan de Lek near Rotterdam
and served as a practice engine at the Maritime
Academy in Dordrecht.

The engine will be used to develop additives for lubrication oil
