History

QuantiParts was established in May of 2015,  with the initial product responsibility of Stork, Bolnes, Deutz, Sulzer, SACM and Poyaud engine types. QuantiParts is the only by Wärtsilä established company with a complete independent organisation structure, which is needed to stay competitive in the tough classic engine market.

Originally located in the former production site of Stork Werkspoor on de Hanzelaan in Zwolle, a location for a new premises was found in Hattem in only 6 km from the original plant. The new premises opened in beginning 2024 and can facilitate the growth expected the coming years as more Wärtsilä engine types will be added to the product responsibility.     

As an OEM supplier, QuantiParts has a long term support strategy for the engine types under its responsibility, which guarantees the availability of parts and technical knowhow even when the installed base is declining. When operating volumes are declining QuantiParts will seek a partnership with the installation owners to align offering and customer ambitions. We will ..and can keep them running

Our Engine Brands

When QuantiParts was established in 2015 the classic range consisted of Stork Werkspoor Diesel, Bolnes, Poyaud, SACM and Deutz. soon followed by the GMT engine Brand.  

In line with the Wärtsilä product lifecycle strategy, more and more engine brands were transferred to QuantiParts during previous years. We have developed a transfer approach in which an engine type is analyzed on installed base, technical issues, pricing  and sales performance. With the results we develop a strategy “to keep them running”

QuantiParts 10 year anniversary

This month we mark the 10th anniversary of QuantiParts B.V.   What a journey it has been, starting in 2015 in the Stork-Wärtsilä Zwolle buildings, we got the opportunity to find our optimal operational model in the highly competitive classic engine business. In line with #Wärtsilä‘s portfolio strategy, during the last 10 years, more and more classic engine types were transferred to our QuantiParts classic engine portfolio. We managed to grow into our new Hattem location, together with our Distributors, Wärtsilä network, Suppliers and the dedication of our Employees. Together We keep them running.
